The excellent Museo Civico in Rimini boasts some remarkable mosaics, including the massive maritime mosaic featuring ships entering port, as well as a full-scale reconstruction of the “House of the Surgeon," a domus with intricate floor mosaics found in the Rimini center (the actual site is nearby and under excavation).
The museum's garden courtyard features a Lapidary - a display of ancient Roman inscriptions in the garden courtyard. With the assistance of the museum staff, I was able to photograph and make rubbings of many of the ancient inscriptions.
